While quality coffee has always been important to Antonio, and his coffees have cupped well, for years Antonio was forced to sell his coffee for at a financial loss. It wasn't until his partnership with Primavera Green Coffee, our partners on the ground in Guatemala, that he was able to earn meaningful premiums for his excellent work. La Nueva Montaña has long been known and famous for their natural process coffees, but this honey processed lot is a real stunner. We tried many different coffees from Primavera this year, but his lot ways by far our favorite due to its dynamic cup profile. From hot to cold we get sweetness that varies from floral honey to sweet caramel. We get fruity flavors from green grape to peach, and we get nutty flavors from macadamia to almond and walnut. It is an exceptional everyday offering showcasing the wonderful and interesting range of flavors that can be found in high-quality Guatemalan coffee.
